Professional Mentoring

Career Connections has established itself as the leading coaching and mentoring development firm in the region and, is committed to working with organizations to ensure the success of both coaching and mentoring as key leadership approaches in businesses. Mentoring can improve workforce development by preparing the next generation of leaders. It also helps to attract and retain employees by offering opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

The Mentoring workshop is aimed at providing the theory and practice of mentoring, and to get the new mentor started on their learning journey. Having completed the Certificate in Coaching, graduates will be familiar with the basic non-directive coaching skills that form the basis of professional mentoring. Mentoring offers the opportunity to draw upon the Mentor’s extensive experience and knowledge of the profession or skill that they have been using and requires the same skills to coaching.
